Steamship Virginia V

The last of the famous "Mosquito Fleet" of ships which used to carry passengers across Lake Washington before the floating bridges were built. They would sail from Kirkland Marina Park and also someplace along the shore in Bellevue across the lake to Seattle

  1. captain donald l. moss will be missed by so many seattle locals. he made boat rides fun and historical. he had a great sence of humor and enjoyed the company of all people from all over the globe. he will be remembered not only as the most remembered captain of the ginny, but also the most remembered captain of the m.v. sightseer. may his spirit carry on.
